You don’t need to be experiencing a crisis or have a diagnosis to come to the Hub.
Sometimes you might need support. Sometimes you might have a question. And sometimes you might just want somewhere to go.
The Hub is designed to be a place where youth can feel comfortable, build connections and access help when they need it.
Our approach is youth-centred, inclusive, culturally responsive and grounded in the belief that young people should have a voice in the services and spaces created for them. Youth help shape the Hub through our Youth Advisory Board and ongoing opportunities for youth engagement.
Wellness, Culture & Community
The North Hastings Youth Wellness Hub recognizes that wellness is about more than health care. It includes connection, belonging, culture, identity, relationships, food, recreation and having people you can count on.
Indigenous teachings, culture and opportunities for connection are woven throughout our work, alongside programming that welcomes and respects the diverse identities and experiences of all young people.
